Hypercholdestrolemia is caused due high level of cholesterol in blood. Hypercholestrolemia is metabolic derangement and secondary to many diseases. It is not a disease. It is caused due to cardiovascular disease. Familial hypercholesterolemia is type of genetic disorders which occur in families and cannot properly metabolise cholesterol.
