Study Offers Possible Way to Prevent Age-Related Macular Degeneration
A new study has discovered a possible prevention for age-related macular degeneration (AMD). More than 5,400 women over the age of 40 participated in the 7 year study. Researchers found that women who took vitamins B6 and B12 along with folic acid supplements had a significantly lower risk of developing AMD.
